More Snowmaking Extensions
Falls Creek has the largest snowmaking system (and highest Vic
Snowfalls) providing the most reliable snow. We're adding more
snowmaking on Wombat's Ramble home trail providing even more
ski in ski out access. You can cruise down Australia's longest
beginner run and enjoy the mountain vistas. |

FREE Sunday Skiing...
when you book a minimum of 5 nights accomodation
commencing on a Sunday and pre purchase any lift
pass of 5 days or more starting on the Monday, you'll be
able to collect and use those passes from 1pm on the
Sunday prior. If rental is included, equipment can be
collected from Falls Creek Sports or Gebi's Ski hire
also from 1pm. If lessons are included the lessons will
commence on a Monday.

Location
Located in the heart of the Victorian High Country, northeast Victoria, Falls Creek is less than a 2 hour drive from Albury or 4.5 hours from Melbourne. And believe it or not, it is the closest Australian ski resort to Brisbane when driving! Besides being Victoria’s largest mountain, the resort’s location means that Falls Creek also enjoys the best snowfalls of all Victorian Resorts, combined with the ambience of a beautiful Alpine Village.
How To Get There
First choose your mode of transport from your state, including a direct flight to Melbourne Airport, Coach or Self Drive.
FLY/coach : Fly into Melbourne or Albury and connect with one of the many coaches.
SELF DRIVE: Falls Creek is 356kms (about 4.5 hours) from Melbourne and approximately eight hours’ drive from Sydney.
Once you have reached the base township of Mt Beauty, you are only 40 minutes away from the largest Victorian alpine resort. A Resort Entry Fee is applicable to all vehicles entering the resort, which is paid, on arrival. You are also required to carry snow chains at all times during the declared snow season, and fit them where directed. You can hire chains at the bottom of the mountain.
Parking at Falls Creek
The Falls Creek Village is above the snowline, offering true ski-in, ski-out convenience which means there is no vehicle access to accommodation facilities. On arrival into Falls Creek, unload your luggage and passengers at the Oversnow Terminal; resort parking attendants will then direct you to a suitable car space for the duration of your stay and a courtesy vehicle will return you to the Oversnow Terminal. Oversnow Transport operates regularly until late to take you and your luggage to your accommodation. Payment is made on arrival. |
Especially For Kids
3 to 14 years The Falls Creek Snowsports School provides an exciting children’s centre at the Cloud 9 complex at the top of the Falls Express Chairlift. This facility provides an innovated themepark style centre. The centre boasts modern facilities with specialised staff for children aged between 3 and 14 years.
3 to 5 years – Snowclub 4 Kids (Skiing Only) Half and Full Day options.
6 to 14 years – Junior Workshop (Skiing and Snowboard) Full Day option only.
We strongly recommend to pre book and pre pay your children into programs due to limited space.
Falls Creek Snow Guarantee
All payments proved to be received (less booking fee) will be refunded, if 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival, there is insufficient snow to enable snowsports on at least three designated downhill runs at Falls Creek. This guarantee does not apply if snowsport runs at the resort cannot be accessed should ski lifts be unable to operate due to other conditions. This guarantee is applicable every day during the declared Victorian ski season.
