About the Opportunity
Snowscene is seeking a Wholesale Travel Consultant to join their team in Brisbane's CBD. This role will suite an experienced Travel Consultant who really knows the snow industry and has a sales record to prove it. The company has a very strong domestic department and wish to grow this area of their business. Experience in the travel industry essential, snow industry preferred. When you accept a position with Australia's leading Snow Travel Company "Snowscene - the ski tour specialists" you will be walking into a rapidly expanding and exciting company. Destination and product knowledge of the Australian ski resorts is preferred as is a passion and enthusiasm for the ski industry.
The successful candidate will also fit the following criteria;
• Possess strong computer skills,
• Work well within a team;
• Possess excellent sales and communication skills;
• Work well under pressure (February to September is extremely busy);
• Be well presented;
• Maintain a positive "can do" attitude;
• Be able to work unsupervised;
• Be willing to go the extra mile to provide a unique travel service;
• Possess a strong work ethic; and
• Maintain a happy and friendly disposition at all times.
This is a full-time role of approximately 40 hours per week.
Snowscene offer attractive remuneration circa $37,500 per annum + super as well as additional realistic and achievable incentives. Your remuneration will be reviewed after 3 months.
In addition to this, you will be working in a supportive environment where the company culture is based on fun and friendship. Famils are offered on a rotated basis and regular training is provided.
