Another incentive for schools to visiting our Nation’s capital is The Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER), a subsidy for schools travelling more than 150 kilometres to Canberra.  The rebate is available for students in year’s 4 to12 visiting Parliament House, Old Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial.  Rates vary according to the distance travelled and funds are used to reduce the costs for individual students.  If you are planning a school excursion to Canberra and wish to apply for the rebate please contact the PACER program on Ph: 1300 368 248.  Please read the Guidelines carefully as conditions apply for the payment of the rebate.
