Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is the region’s largest mountain resort, featuring the highest elevation and longest vertical drop. This resort spans two state lines (California and Nevada) and the views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra mountain range are magnificent.

Heavenly Resort is located in the Sierra Mountain Range, near the southern shores of Lake Tahoe which is 322kms northeast of San Francisco, California and 93kms southwest of Reno, Nevada. Squaw Valley
Sqaw Valley has 4000 acres spread across six Sierra Peaks which offers some exceptionally challenging slopes with the centre area providing good intermediate terrain.
Off the slopes there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied. Your Liftpass allows night skiing at Squaw Valley, or you can upgrade to an inter- changeable Liftpass valid at nearby Alpine Meadows, Kirkwood, Northstar, Sierra and Heavenly.

Northstar

Squaw Valley & Northstar Resort are small villages where everything can be accessed on foot. There is a small mini-mart in the Squaw village. The nearest towns with large supermarkets etc are Truckee or Lake Tahoe which are approx 10km away and accessed by taxi or rental car.

Northstar is located 38 miles from Reno international airport, 6 miles from historic downtown Truckee and 6 miles from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Northstar Resort’s 230 lodging units are situated at the base of the ski area, adjacent to the new Village at Northstar offering fine dining & shopping as well as a collection of cafes, restaurants and an ice skating rink.

With 89 trails spread across 2,904 acres, world-class terrain parks and snow sports including alpine and telemark skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing, Northstar Resort is fun for all. And, with the new Village at Northstar featuring shopping, dining, special events and a 9,000 square foot skating rink, Northstar Resort offers something for everyone.
